Performance
The 2024 and 2025 Nissan Frontier are available with the same powertrain for all trim levels: a V6, naturally aspirated 3.8-liter engine that generates 310 horsepower. It is offered with a nine-speed auto transmission and the choice of rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. In 2025, the Frontier’s towing capacity gets a boost up to 7,100 pounds. The chassis and steering also get updates that improve its performance and handling.
Appearance
The 2025 Frontier PRO-X and PRO-4X trim levels show off updated wheels and a refreshed nose. In addition, Afterburn Orange is a new paint color. For all of the 2025 trim levels except the S, the Frontier is now offered with an optional 6-foot bed. Otherwise, the 2024 and 2025 versions of the Frontier are unchanged. The Frontier looks confident and commanding with a squared-off front end, a beefy, rectangular grille, and LED-accented headlights. Some trims have mud flaps, skid plates, fender flares, all-terrain tires, a sliding rear window, and other features.
Features
Several features are introduced or enhanced in the 2025 Frontier. These include a 360-degree camera, wireless Android Auto, a 12.3-inch central display screen, adaptive cruise control, and a lane departure warning. The Frontier’s other features available in 2024 are also available in the 2025 model year. These include wireless internet connectivity, a navigation system, a Fender sound system, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, remote start, household power outlets, and more.
