2025 Nissan Rogue vs 2025 Toyota RAV4
Serving Turnersville, NJ
Compact crossover SUV shoppers have been debating between the Nissan Rogue and the Toyota RAV4 for years. In 2025, the Rogue introduces an off-road-ready trim level while the RAV4 eliminates its comparable trim levels. In addition, the Rogue brings a few other updates to its technologies online. What should you be aware of about the 2025 Rogue and the 2025 RAV4 before making your next auto purchase?
Performance
All five of the 2025 Nissan Rogue’s trim levels come with the same 201-horsepower, turbo 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engine. The S, SV, SL, and Platinum trims have front-wheel drive, or you can upgrade to all-wheel drive. The new Rock Creek trim level comes with standard all-wheel drive as well as an off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, and hill descent control.
The 2025 Toyota RAV4 also offers one powertrain: a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that generates 203 horsepower. All trim levels have front-wheel drive, with the option to upgrade to all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The impressive Nissan Rogue’s exterior was recently updated and continues to showcase modern styling. The front end is distinguished by a layered look for the V-motion grille and unique air vents tucked away below the headlights. The headlights run linearly on the grille’s flanks and are accompanied by a disconnected upper LED light.
The Toyota RAV4 has molded sides with a boxy fender shape. Both the grille and front bumper trend downward on the sides. The foglight ports sit far back, and the headlights have an edgy, angled design.
Features
In 2025, the Rogue introduces hands-free driving on highways and upgraded camera views for the front and under-body angles. The new Rock Creek trim comes with heated front seats, an off-road view camera, a tubular roof rack with cross bars, water repellent upholstery, driver’s memory settings, a wireless charging pad, a heated steering wheel, and others. Features offered on this and other trim levels include lane keeping, a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, adaptive cruise control, an 8-inch touch display screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and more.
All RAV4 crossovers offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch interface, a six-speaker sound system, and several safety assistance features as standard features. Higher trims are available with a sunroof, a blind-spot warning, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a few additional items.
