Two critical updates to the Nissan Sentra’s performance for the 2024 model year exist. One of these is the addition of engine start-stop for all trims. This feature optimizes fuel economy. In addition, the Xtronic continuously variable transmission is new. It also enhances fuel economy and supports a smoother ride. The three trim levels, the S, SV, and SR, are all comparably equipped. They carry the same 149-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine available in the 2023 model year. The SV trim level adds rear disc brakes.

Appearance

The 2024 Sentra takes on a modern look with updated headlights and taillights. The front bumper is reshaped, and a few new wheel designs exist. On the nose, the V-motion grille has linear accents lined by thick chrome bars. The slender, angled headlights and the tall air vents point inward. The definition on the lower door panels and above the fenders is angled to create a sense of momentum. Select or all trims may have exterior gear like a power sunroof, 18-inch wheels, a spoiler, and heated side mirrors.
