2023 Nissan Pathfinder vs 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek
Serving Turnersville, NJ
The three-row Nissan Pathfinder is a solid choice for Turnersville-area SUV shoppers who need strong power and expect exceptional features. The Pathfinder is a midsize crossover that debuted its fourth generation last year. For the 2023 model year, the new Rock Creek trim level is added to the mix. Now, the trim levels are the S, SV, SL, Rock Creek and Platinum. How does the base S trim compare to the new Rock Creek?
Performance
All 2023 Pathfinder trims are loaded with a V6, 3.5-liter gas engine and a nine-speed auto transmission. For most trims, this 284-horsepower system has front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional on most trims, but it is standard for the Rock Creek trim. A lifted, off-road suspension and all-terrain tires also elevate the Pathfinder Rock Creek’s performance. In addition, if you add premium fuel to the tank, the Rock Creek can get a boost up to 295 horsepower.
Appearance
There are no updates to the exterior of the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder except for the improvements introduced with the Rock Creek trim. All trims have broad dimensions with a tall roof and lightly molded fenders. Dark molding runs along the front bumpers and lower sides. The classic V-Motion grille is wider, and its chrome accent bar has a flat bottom. For an added touch of personality, the 2023 Pathfinder has rectangular, multi-elemental headlights that sit at an angle. Above these lights, a second light arches upward. The Rock Creek trim adds 18-inch wheels, a tubular roof rack, a special grille design and LED foglights.
Features
The base trim for the 2023 Pathfinder is well-appointed with gear like an 8-inch touch display screen, proximity keyless entry, a three-zone climate control system, a push-button starter, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a rear cross-traffic warning, rear auto braking, a blind-spot monitor, forward collision mitigation and a lane departure warning. If you opt for the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek, your SUV will come with faux leather material with orange stitching and cloth accents. It also has the same features that are added with the SL trim, including a heated steering wheel, a navigation system, a surround-view camera, a larger touch display screen and a power liftgate.
