The Nissan Pathfinder has long been a coveted option among drivers in search of a three-row SUV. This midsize model continues to be offered with five trims: the S, SV, SL, Rock Creek, and Platinum. The SL and all other trims now come with a complimentary Nissan Maintenance Care Plan. This plan gives you three oil changes during your Pathfinder’s first 24,000 miles or two years. What else can you expect from the mid-range Pathfinder SL?
The Pathfinder has long been recognized for its boxy style and broad dimensions, and it sports the same look in 2025 as it had in 2025. The nose shows off a flat hood and a curved front end. The V-motion grille has a modern spin with a glossy black finish and a trio of chrome-outlined, rectangular accents running across the top. The LED headlights have a diamond-like shape, and they are accompanied by an upper LED element. Over the sides, you will find sharply defined and molded fenders as well as another molded element running across the lower door panels. Exterior features available on the Pathfinder SL are heated side mirrors, a power liftgate, and 18-inch wheels.
The Pathfinder SL and all other trims draw 284 horsepower from a 3.5-liter V6 powertrain. This system also generates 259 pound-feet of torque. The SL comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission as well as standard front-wheel drive. However, all-wheel drive is optional.
As the mid-level trim, the Pathfinder SL is nicely appointed.
