 What’s New for the 2025 Nissan Altima SR?

The impressive Nissan Altima SR is the model’s sporty trim level. It builds on the features available in the well-equipped SV trim level and adds special engineering components. Additionally, the Altima SR is designed with interior and exterior features that are not offered with any other trim level in the 2025 model year. While most aspects of the 2025 Altima SR are unchanged from the previous model year, there is one update. Now, all Altima trim levels are available with the Maintenance Care package. This package provides you with three oil changes for the first 24 months or 24,000 miles.

The Altima SR turns heads with its sleek look. The roof line is dramatically tapered while the sides are styled with minimized upper and lower accents from end to end. The defined hood is steeply sloped, and the V-motion grille drops to the bottom of the nose. It is styled with horizontal accent bars and chrome trim on the sides. This trim bends outward to support the pointed, LED-accented headlights. The SR is differentiated from the other trim levels with 19-inch wheels and special style elements.

All 2025 Nissan Altima sedans come with the same engine. This is a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder that pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. The output is 188 horsepower with 180 pound-feet of torque. For the SR trim, front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is offered. The SR is the only trim available with a sport suspension if you choose the front-wheel drivetrain. It also comes with paddle shifters.

Inside the cabin, the SR trim level stands apart with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather-wrapped shifter, and special design elements. It also comes with all of the features offered with the lower trim levels. These are rear USB ports, forward collision mitigation, a driver attention warning, a push-button ignition, a lane departure alert, an 8-inch central display screen, remote engine start, a six-speaker sound system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rear parking sensors and a blind-spot detection system. Additional features available include a wireless smartphone charging pad, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, heated front seats, a sunroof, and more.
