 What’s New for the 2024 Nissan Sentra?

The 2024 Nissan Sentra emerges as a mid-generation update, boasting numerous exciting enhancements. The improvements to this compact car begin with a fresh look on the exterior, featuring modernized and sleek headlights and taillights. The front and rear bumpers have been refined to accentuate the car’s sporty appeal. Retaining its signature V-motion grille, which extends almost to the bottom of the nose, the Sentra is flanked by athletic gills. Its rolling profile, combined with angled definition over the lower door panels and bold accentuation over the front and rear fenders, exudes a confident stance. Additionally, there are new wheel designs to complement the overall aesthetic. Exterior features remain consistent across the 2024 Sentra’s trim levels, potentially including a rear spoiler, sunroof, daytime running lights, heated side mirrors, and hands-free keyless entry.

Under the hood, the 2024 Sentra has an Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission and engine start-stop feature. The powertrain, consistent across all three Sentra trim levels, mirrors the 2023 model year: a 149-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine with a front-wheel drivetrain.

The only notable change in the cabin is the redesigned Nissan logo on the steering wheel. The base S trim boasts a 7-inch touch display screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a push-button engine starter, lane departure sensing, rear automatic braking, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot alert, and a four-speaker sound system. Stepping up to the mid-level Sentra SV adds two additional speakers to the sound system, more USB ports, an enhanced driver information display, and an 8-inch central display screen. Several optional packages are available for the SV trim, offering features such as leather seats, a Bose sound system, heated seats, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, remote engine start, and a heated steering wheel. The SV trim level also offers sports cloth upholstery with accent stitching, a wireless internet hotspot, and a surround-view parking system.
