The 2023 Nissan Altima introduces a fresh look and a few new features to enjoy. The trim lineup has also been trimmed down by eliminating the Altima Platinum. The remaining trims are the S, SV, SR, SL and SR VC-Turbo. As the mid-level trim for 2023, the Altima SR is a great starting point as you review the options.
Under the hood, the 2023 Nissan Altima SR continues to have a 188-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine. It is paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. However, all-wheel drive is available as an upgrade. If you choose the AWD format, the engine’s output decreases slightly to 182 horsepower. The SR trim also comes with transmission paddle shifters and a sports suspension.
The style updates to the Altima’s façade are on the front end. The new look features a curved, tall hood that rolls into a deep, inverted grille. The triangular air vents and the LED-accounted headlights follow the grille’s outline for an athletic touch. The Altima has a sloping hood and minor, well-placed side accents. On the 2023 Nissan Altima SR exterior, you can appreciate 19-inch wheels, a sunroof, turn signal indicators, and heat for the side mirrors and auto high beams.
